“Samsung, Intel and other companies urged President Donald Trump on Thursday to crack down on owners of standard-essential patents who don’t license them on fair terms, and to allow a Federal Trade Commission suit accusing Qualcomm of doing that to proceed in court.
The letter to the president signed by 15 companies and organizations, including the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and ACT-The App Association, came as conservative groups have pushed Trump to drop the suit against Qualcomm Inc., which was filed in the final week of the Obama administration.” — [READ MORE]
